My production company arealtyvision.com films realestate agents listings, then puts them on local cable.?

Question by Madison: My production company arealtyvision.com films realestate agents listings, then puts them on local cable.?
My question to realestate professionals is, what other services can I add to my current package that will allow for more sales lead generation after before and during the airing of their listing on cable.

I am an investor, not a real estate professional.

I would think converting the film into something they can put on their web site and link thru the MLS would be attractive.

The Economics of Free Services: A Look at Online Real-Estate Ads

The Economics of Free Services: A Look at Online Real-Estate Ads

Montreal, QC, Canada (PRWEB) July 19, 2005

Cytadia, a free real-estate service bridging the gap between home sellers and buyers, reached break-even point after less than 6 months of operations as its combined American and Canadian divisions recently attained profitability.

Cytadia generates the majority of its revenues through advertising and voluntary user donations. “If our users are satisfied with the service we provide, it’s up to them to give whatever they want after using it, or give nothing at all!” said Nicolas Plouznikoff, in charge of the Marketing department at Cytadia. “Numerous new For Sale By Owner web sites appear every month, hoping to tap into the 2/3 of all home buyers starting their search for a new home online. We do not however see them as competition because the core of our business model is uniquely built around offering a free service, and it’s hard to compete with free” he added.

Thanks to Cytadia, home sellers can place free ads with virtually unlimited text and pictures while home buyers can search for a new home efficiently using various high-tech tools, from maps to advanced search filters. “Our free service is, in fact, more professional than the one provided by many commercial websites charging for real-estate listings, as we spend less time managing and going after customers and more time actually improving our service and helping our users” said Alexandre Plouznikoff, director of operations and co-founder of Cytadia.

Cytadia’s goal is to provide a free and useful community service on a permanent basis without any fees, commissions or contracts. “Judging from the numerous thank you notes we receive each day, our service is especially well received by middle class families who, by using Cytadia to market a house they want to sell privately, can pocket the 5% average commission they would pay to a real estate agent. On a 200 000$ house that’s about 10 000$ they can keep for things they really need” said Alexandre Plouznikoff.

“Our users get access to a quality service that is useful to them and, in return, they fuel our growth by spreading the word about Cytadia and its unique approach. Our users become an asset as they actually promote our service by themselves. It really is a win-win situation and, at this point, there are absolutely no reasons for us to switch to a paying service in the future” he added.

The bottom line is that free services work, especially on the Internet.

I’ve worked as a Realtor two different times but only on a part time basis. What I saw from successful Realtors is that you have to work it like a job. Go into the office every day. Make a lot of phone calls. One broker I worked for said 10 phone calls a day and you would be successful. Plan on calling For Sale By Owners and Expired listings. Give a business card to everyone you meet. Make a list of people you know (sphere of influence) and send an introductory letter to those people telling them that you are now selling real estate and if they know anyone looking to buy or sell please contact you. Any time you meet someone or have a new client add them to your list. Send out a postcard or newsletter about once a month so they don’t forget about you. When you are trying to get an appointment or a commitment on a contract don’t ask a question that they can answer no to. For instance, don’t ask if you can come over, instead ask if 6:00 or 7:00 is better for them. Give a choice, it makes it harder for them to say no. My husband’s aunt is a successful real estate agent in NC and I’m told she went door to door when she first started. Basically, plan on working your butt off to start with and after a while you’ll start getting referrals. Make sure you give good customer service so your buyers and sellers will use you again and refer their friends to you.

Unleash Hell

It was late August, 2011. The trade winds of GFCII were just starting to stiffen and you could smell some fear in the air. Australia had escaped, relatively unscathed, from the first global meltdown. Now. All the money was gone. Anything and everything that could go wrong with the minority Labour Government had. National Leader Barnaby Joyce was making headlines making claims they’d borrowed 0 million a day. Against this backdrop, the great Australian dream of owning your own home was turning into somewhat of a nightmare. Yet. None of the above seemed to deter any of the true believers who flocked to Glenn Twiddle’s annual Queensland Real Estate Agents Summit at Brisbane’s Greek Club, where this year’s theme was…Unleash Hell. Now. You won’t see these faces in the ads of glossy real estate magazines or newspapers. The likes of Chris Gilmour, who lists and sells a property every 26 hours, doesn’t believe in print. They don’t drive BMWs. They drive hard deals and hard drives. They don’t do lunch; they do SKYPE. Most are independent. Production notes: Shot on a Canon 5DMII (and an IXUS 70) with a variety of lenses with sound recorded on The ZOOM.
