BeverlyHillsPeople.com Launches Real Estate Division For Luxury Homes And Estates
BeverlyHillsPeople.com Launches Real Estate Division For Luxury Homes And Estates
Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) December 21, 2005
Beverly Hills People, a new web portal serving residents and businesses in the Westside of Los Angeles will soon offer real estate agents in the luxury home market a new marketing tool. Known as the Luxury Homes and Estates Pages, this website offers real estate professionals world-wide exposure and highly-targeted access to the tens of thousands of luxury home buyers who search online each month.
Agents and brokers can go to http://www.beverlyhillspeople.com/realestate/index2.htm and register for a free membership to Beverly Hills People Luxury Homes and Estates. After signing in, real estate professionals can upload their listings and color photos in an elegant presentation to the Luxury and Estates Pages. Agents from Coldwell Banker, Sotheby’s, Nourmand & Associates, Prudential, Hilton & Hyland and Keller Williams, to name a few, will benefit from this new advertising channel.
“Beverly Hills People strives to provide an alternative site for real estate agents representing luxury homes. We focus on providing better and longer exposure for real estate agents,” said Martin Halfon, owner of Beverly Hills People. “Our format and presentation will also give home buyers a better feel and understanding of the property they are viewing.”
“2006 projections are showing an increase in inventory that will spend a longer time on the market. This fact coupled with interest rate uncertainty will mean that agents will need better ways to promote and advertise their listings. “
“We feel we can help agents advertise in a cost-effective manner, now that 70 percent of home buyers begin their real estate search on the internet, and 30 percent of total buyers end up purchasing a property they first saw on the web.”
Beverly Hills People has launched its website with a specific mission of providing relevant information regarding real estate, travel, dining, shopping, and entertainment to the residents of Beverly Hills and surrounding communities. Additionally, BeverlyHillsPeople.com serves as an online resource for the millions of travelers who visit the area each year.

On Yahoo! Real Estate, if a house is listed as $45,000…?
Question by K. Staaar: On Yahoo! Real Estate, if a house is listed as ,000…?
My family is looking to move and I suggested LA, so now I’m helping with looking for house in and around Los Angeles, CA. I found a couple of houses, and one of them says “Available For Long Or Short Term Beginning August 10, 2010″ and the price is $ 45,000.
Does the long or short term mean that it’s for rent?
And if the price is $ 45,000, is that per month or how much we pay in all?
I’m doing the house research on my own and I don’t know much about real estate and buying houses. I also don’t want to contact the RE agent because I’m not sure what to say.
Here’s the link if you want to check it out:

Where in the NC/TN/VA Mts should I live?
Question by Kellyn: Where in the NC/TN/VA Mts should I live?
My family and I moved to Charlotte NC when it was still very rural, dirt roads and all, and unfortunately our area has become a big bustling city of its own. I am looking to relocate myself and my family to someplace simple, quaint, someplace that they (my children) can grow up seeing that the simplist things in life like family are the things that we should cherish the most, where stars are out at night, and where there isnt the constant hustle and bustle of an Urban area. We are Looking for a place with good, social people and schools but it still has that small town feel with the classic specialty shops and trails and just the overall country feel WITH true white winters.
Any help would be awesome! Looking to stay on East Coast (closer to family), Prefferably NC, TN or VA.
We would love to build our own home, so someplace with great land realestate would be perfect.
Like I said, I want it to be very tight knit, sort of mayberry-esque/walk into the small store down the road where you get your honey and milk and get greated by the towns Aunt May (lol, not exactly like that, but thats the gist of it), easy to make roots with social yet not over social people, not stereotypical “hill folk”
and obviously I want good schools and recreational activities for the kiddos. My husband is a Doctor (Surgeon) and I am a Historian.
Thanks!
)
BTW – I mentioned this in the title but I am going to mention it again, someplace in the mountains would be awesome but we are also looking at places with lakes or ocean front near by because sailing and boating is a past time for the familia.

I live in Cookeville, TN (located about halfway between Nashville and Knoxville). It’s a nice, pleasant town. It’s not quite Mayberry, but has that smaller town feel. If it’s lakes you are looking for, they aren’t too far from here. Sparta, TN (my hometown about 20 min. from Cookeville) is smaller and has more of the Mayberry feel to it. Everyone knows everyone. It is a cheap place to live if you are looking into building/buying a house or want to buy land. The real estate tax may be cheap too, but not sure. I don’t own land yet.
There are more things to do in Cookeville (not a whole lot to do like a larger city would have), but again its just a 20 min. drive here from Sparta. Jobs are not as easy to come by around here like they would be in a larger city. There are just some pros and cons to both locations, as there would be for any location. I’ll attach some links for you about both towns.
